Philanthopy Specialist

Maureen McDaniels

Maureen’s roots are deep in our community. She was born at St. Bernardine Medical Center and began her philanthropic efforts in her teens as a volunteer “Candy Striper.”  Throughout her life she continued with volunteer fundraising for many local charities, including both Community Hospital of San Bernardino (CHSB) and St. Bernardine Medical Center (SBMC). In 2010 Maureen officially became a member of the CHSB Family as the Executive Assistant for its Foundation. In 2015 the staff from the CHSB and SBMC Foundations merged and she was once again fundraising for both hospitals. Maureen’s many roles with Dignity Health have included operational, fundraising, and special event responsibilities. As a Philanthropy Specialist, she currently oversees annual giving programs including Employee Giving, Guardian Angels, Donor Recognition, and the Women of Dignity Health Giving Group.

Maureen has enjoyed serving on several committees for local charities and on the board of the Rotary Club of San Bernardino. She is a member of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy. Maureen’s passion for philanthropy and fundraising for her community has inspired her to pursue a Business degree in Service Management.
